Today we used tissue paper and mod podge (and a little glitter) to decorate ornaments. Yesterday my mom gave the kids an old tissue paper decoupaged baby food jar candle holder I made when I was a kid. The kids have were ALL about it and requested we make our own ASAP. Good thing I was already planning to make these ornaments. I figured it would be close enough to the same activity and I am pretty sure I was right. At first the ornaments were moving around a little much, so we stick some caramel apple sticks in some air dry clay and put the ornaments on top. Popsicle sticks or even straight sticks from outside would work great with play dough too. I love simple crafts like this because all 3 kids get to participate and I really feel like we did something for the holidays without it being too complicated, overly involved or hard to clean up.
