It’s Shelfie Sunday again! This our downstairs shelf that is in our open kitchen. This is where our dining table is, so it’s wear most of work is done, and also no one would help me carry this shelf upstairs! I don’t change this shelf out all at once (I rotate the bottom more frequently, and the top a lot less). I‘ve rotated and changed up this shelf almost completely over the last few weeks.
I took off a lot of “school work” like our language objects cabinet, sandpaper letters, moveable alphabet, geometric shapes, graded geometric figures, plus a lot of the Sensorial materials on the shelf next to this (unpictured, sorry) like the knobbed cylinders, pink tower, red rods (the brown stairs are on their way out too). These removals just temporary as I am reorganizing and taking a little break for summer, but I chose to do it because no one was paying these materials much attention. I am hoping to take a little break and then bring them out with new and fresh enthusiasm.
This shelfie is shared by my 3 kids, with each level being somewhat dedicated to one child.
Top shelf: sand tray, Ikea cash register calculator, decimal system materials, Geoboards, M&D Pattern Blocks (plus printable Pattern Blocks pattern cards), Lake animals cutting stripes, Uno, M&D Children Around The World puzzle, Guess Who? Game
