Over the last few years, I’ve been learning more and expanding what Advent means to us. We are Catholic, but I come from a very secular background. I love the traditional Catholic experience of Advent, but I also really enjoy many aspects of Waldorf and that includes how Waldorf schools and families celebrate Advent. So our choices are a bit eclectic.
We read a lot of Christmas books during Advent, but this is more about books we share deliberately during “Morning Basket” time to expand the spiritual experience of Advent and use it as a point to educate ourselves about our world. Without further ado, these are the books we are looking at this Advent.
Links provided are to Amazon for ease of us. These are affiliate links so I do receive a small commission to help support my family (and validate the time I spend putting together these blog posts), but the book choices are 100% my own.

Would love to hear what kind of resources you use to help study during the weeks before Christmas. Let me know in the comments or on Instagram (@milamsathome_montessori).
