Another Sunday, another shelfie. It’s been a nice relaxing day, so I was able to tidy up, do a much needed toy rotation (and rearranging). Our upstairs shelves look fresh and hopefully will be engaging for the kiddos. This shelf is particularly geared toward Noodle, who is 18 months, but honestly they all enjoy playing with these toys.
On top of the shelf is our beloved Melissa and Doug Barn, and our rainbow stacker from Sensory Play (on Etsy).
On the shelves currently:
Plan Toys Pounding Bench
Haba Palette of Pegs (only a few pegs out!)
DIY Magnetic Fishing Game
DIY Horizontal Dowel (rings from our Melissa and Doug stacker)
I am so happy to have our toys rotated and fresh for the coming week! I think the weather will be nice (finally), so I am hoping to do some swimming in the afternoon. Which means this Mommy needs to get some stuff done during the morning! Fresh activities do so much to help stimulate independent play at our house.
Do you rotate toys at your house? Do you have a schedule, or do you look for signs of boredom? How do you know when your child is over a toy or activity?
Hoping you all had a great Sunday and have a fantastic week!
